  • Great place to drop by for a delicious bowl of noodles or rice. Dry hakka noodles are highly recommended, and the yam rice is tasty as well with actual pieces of yam in it. Otherwise, I would also recommend the dry loh shi fun. You select your choice of yong tau foo and fried items on the way in, and they are laid out in a manner that makes them easy to choose. There are herbal chicken, and braised chicken feet off to the side as well. A majority of the offerings taste good, so it really boils down to your own personal preference. Food is consistently good, and the servers are lukewarm as this is more of an Oriental "fast-food" concept where you make your selections on the way in, pay at the cashier, then sit down, and wait for the food to be brought to you. You're not really here for the 5-star service and ambience which can get noisy at peak hours. I recommend this place if you're looking for a quick bite with air conditioning. The prices won't break the bank either.

  • Cheap and good food, tasty springy noodles with fragrant lard minced pork sauce. Love the variety of veges stuffed with fish paste (hence the fish jelly). Soup is light and not oily, so good and healthy

  • They serve good hakka mee here. Lots of side dishes for you to choose from too. The sauce is slightly too salty for my taste, so I just splash a little bit of soup into it and it's nice. The noodle texture is also nice, not over cooked. The noodle is also a little sticky compared to the ones I had in other places. Pricing wise, it's fairly reasonable. Environment is also clean. Didn't take too long for food to be served. Will be back again for sure.

  • The food here is delicious and affordable. I recommend getting the noodles as they are simply one of the best noodles I've tasted in a while. As for drinks, I recommend the 爱玉 drink. Overall this place is perfect for those who are looking for a fast and delicious. But as always, there is a downside, the setting here is limited so you will most probably have to wait for a table if you don't come early.

  • The Yong Tau Foo served here is quite tasty in Penang. It can fixed the craving if you miss KL Yong Tao Foo. The soup and noodle are very sweet and delicious too. They also sell Hakka dishes like Yam Rice, braised chicken feet, paper wrap chicken etc. You are required to Q and wait for a table available before they will take your order. Location wise, it is very hard to get a parking especially lunch and dinner time. The food serving time is around 30mins. The Q time varies, depends on the crowd.

  • In case you are wondering what food this place serves (since the name isn't very descriptive), it's yong tau foo. They have a few types of carb but trust me, order the dry hakka mee. The soup hakka is so so but the dry hakka is unreal. Delicious noodles, perfectly oiled and flavoured, small amount of minced pork, this is a great combination. It can be eaten on its own but of course some accompanying lauk lauk will make the dining experience more enjoyable. The yam rice was highly recommended by word of mouth but tbh I wasn't impressed. Not enough flavour and a little overcooked bloated rice. Coming to the side dishes, they have the usual soup and deep fried choices. You should probably a little of both. Lots of their choices have these yummy solidified paste presumably made from fish product and fish flavoued, hence the shop name fish jelly. The soup is light and tasty but personally I felt it was a little too salty. However, I did enjoy the side dishes that you order. Solidly flavoured, they were all delicious. Both the soupy version and fried version lends each other a satisfying textural contrast thats enjoyable to eat. The air con isn't cold but the cool temperature is welcome if the outside weather is hot. Finally, the price is fair, and cost of the meal will depend on the variety of dishes you order.
